This is a rare 1940's working electric vacuum syphon coffee maker with original lead and cloth brewing filter...said to brew the best coffee at the right temperature every time; watch science at work! Unlike the modern glass on syphons that's thin and easily breaks; the glass funnel and jug on this vintage affair are thick and sturdy, and fits snugly onto the electric element base!

Because of the age of this coffee syphon, the Chrome plate is a bit pitted in areas, but it all adds to the character, and will certainly make a good topic of conversation as brewing begins!
