  • Coffee Roasting doesn't have to be complicated using technology

Well, after years of trying many coffee roasters connected to some technology component/s to finely tune the bean characteristics, and the expensive repair costs and parts; especially in 2024 where labour prices have shot up by 50% as well as parts, I've decided to go back to basics; I'm now manually roasting in my home made 6 inch copper roaster (375g capacity) using the all important 3 senses to understand what process my roast is at, and helped by my trusty Makita drill.

Of course, it's down to honing your senses; playing with the variable gas flame, temperature, timing, and patience!
