The Fresh Roast SR 300 coffee roaster is a larger version of the Plus 8. It will roast twice the capacity of the Plus 8 (4 scoops, 120 gm) with a digital time display. The maximum time to set the control is 9.9 minutes however with the great added features at any point during the roast sequence you can add 6 seconds every time you tap the button. Time can also be subtracted using the same method. The timer can be overridden by tapping the Cool button, the roaster will go into the Cool mode for 3 minutes.

This is by far the best quality Popper I've tried so far as it being suitable for Coffee Roasting as well as popping the odd cup of corn! Forget the crappy £10 machines...they just won't work for decent coffee roasting! .

Unlike other popcorn makers that have an outer plastic 'inlet' chamber with a limited circumference, this one is wider, and is made of metal, with a metal edge; see pics:



also the important part is side hot air vents, not base vent!!

This quite simply is a glorified 'smokeless' hot air roasting machine with enclosed -lock-down-chamber, which can roast 250g of green coffee beans comfortably, but states 150g per batch! The top has a nice curved glass dome where you can get a clear open view at every stage of roasting. The front panel has a programmable timer, and safety eject button to cut the programme at any time you wish, but it's best to stiick to a programme to have a clean smokeless roast and cooling period. Results are promising for what this machine is, but precise roasting profiles it is not!

The price is a tad high at around £240
You can purchase a 'Cooling Pad' (12v Fan) as part of the package if one wants, but again, this is expensive!
